Have anyone got any ideas to re-decorate my bedroom. But my parents wont let me paint it again untill next year lol. I am thinking of buying new duvet and pillow covers, new mirror, wall clock and making everything modern. but this will take a long time to save up for and i am quite skint :L Thanks. I'm thinking things that aren't flat like mirrors and art prints. So far, I've thought of small floor rugs and pillows. I have a modern home and my style is kind of eclectic. Ideas?

I LOVE blue, I would want everything to be blue. It is a smaller bedroom, so not too much room. I have already bought all new furniture, bed, desk, dresser, etc. and they are all beach colored (like a yellow-white color, like sand). I have also painted the walls blue. But I want the room to look very modern and cool, but can't get any farther than the painting and furniture. Any suggestions on sheets, quilts, pillows, accessories, lighting, pictures, etc.? One of the walls is a mirror (the whole wall), it slides open to reveal a closet, anything you can do with that?

i'm renting an apartment and we can't repaint the white walls. i want to make my bedroom look modern and stylish, and i don't know if birch wood (like a light colored wood) or darker wood for furniture would look better...or are there other options? i need a bed, desk, chair, dresser, and a full length mirror for sure. but i'm on a $500 budget for the entire room. any help? thanks :)

I need serious help. I just painted my room fuchsia pink and bought a brown bed set. it is plain brown. i want some stuff on my walls because they are bare. I bought the square shelves but haven't put the up yet. I also have a long brown mirror as well. i want to include pictures on my walls but want it to look good and kind of modern.

The picture is actually a somewhat heavy mirror about 2 ft wide & 3 ft high. I don't know how much the picture weighs. The wall is actually over a fireplace in a very modern home. I would guess that the wall is dry wall. At first I suggested those picture-hanging kits consisting of a nail & a hook (maybe use 2 to accomodate the weight). My mother (it is her house) feels that "molly" bolts would be better. Molly bolts are these plactic gizmos that you hammer into a drilled hole and hold a screw which you hang the picture on. Forgive me if my terminology is incorrect.
