How do I remove mirrors from my wall that are being held by mounting tape?
I cannot get my fingers behind the mirrors to pry them loose. I have tried using a screwdriver to create leverage but it dented the wall. I then tried using a knife to loosin the mounting tape but the mirror broke. Any ideas?

Is it possible to reach the mounting tape? I know that either
wd 40 or Pam sprayed on sticky stuff will help it release.
Sorry this is my best suggestion. I would use a putty knife, it should do the least damage.

I used these once and was very sorry too. Good Luck
if possible cut the mounting tape, with a companions help to prevent dropping. use a hair dryer on the tape to remove after mirror is down safe.
i removed 30 mirror tiles from one of my rooms using a heat gun and spackling knife,i had to break the first mirror so i can get access to the edge.the heat gun will soften up the glue on the tape and make it very plyable.some came off pretty easy and some took a lot more heat, but it eventually worked without damaging the wall, then i had to sand the wall to get the excess tape and glue off.i actually removed all the mirrors only breaking 3. good luck, its not a fun job
Truthfully without the right gear your going break the mirror a few times.

A heat gun, scrapper and suction cub grips are what youll need to remove the mirrors. It is a hassle and most likely youll break the mirror in a few places but if you arent worried about keeping it then its ok.
use a 12" hacksaw blade

put some masking tape on one end just enough so you can hold the blade without the teeth digging into your hand, place the end of the blade behind the mirror and flush to the wall and push forward and backwards until you have got to the bottom of the mounting tape, repeat for any other areas what have the mounting tape untill the mirror become loose and you are able to pull it off the wall

hope this helps

thanks
